  • Salary: Competitive – depending on experience + bonus 

Why we need you...

Here's the purpose of the role:

  • Drive sales and distribution reach of all Learning Roots products in the United States

What you'll have to do...

Here are your key responsibilities:


  • Achieve annual / quarterly / monthly sales and distribution targets
  • Develop new business partners in the USA, including mainstream booksellers/retailers 
  • Develop partnership and sell into Madrasah and Muslim Schools
  • Account Manager existing and future customer base maximising portfolio sales & distribution with Joint Business Plans (JBP) 
  • Enter Learning Roots into key international markets and account manage distributors/retailers/schools in those markets.
  • Develop and execute relevant Route to Market / Go to Market strategy for the various products within the portfolio. 
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute a compelling channel proposition
  • Develop innovative sales strategies  
  • Regular sales and market reports identifying gaps and opportunities 

Do you have what it takes?

Here are the knowledge and skill requirements for the role:


  • 1-3 years’ successful sales/business development experience within the USA

  • A Bachelor's degree / related training

  • Strong interpersonal / people  skills 

  • Excellent written/ and presentation skills

  • Understanding of the UK Madrassa and Muslim School space & environment  

  • Understanding of Route to Market and channel management 

  • Numerical and analytical skills 

  • The ability to manage multiple customers and tasks at one time

  • Passion for books in general and children’s books in particular

  • Able to travel from state to state. Travel will be required
