Salary: up to £30,000 + benefits – depending on experience
Here's the purpose of the role:
Assist the CEO in developing products across the Learning Roots portfolio
Assist the CEO and Head of Marketing in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
Product:
Support in the development of products across the Learning Roots portfolio, including Books and Games
Design, edit and improve content to align with Learning Roots’ vision and our target customer preferences.
Support in the development of content design (layout, artwork, images, etc.) and ensure publications are accurate and free of errors.
Support in the recruitment and management of researchers, authors, writers, editors and copywriters, etc.
Support in writing content in key categories for publication.
Support in ensuring publication timelines and budget are met.
Work with sales and marketing to drive volume and revenue of the company portfolio.
Understand, report and update on trends in the children’s publication category.
Marketing:
Support in the strategy and development of marketing campaigns (online and offline) for new and existing products, to drive revenue and customer base.
Support the management of LearningRoots.com online store, to optimise customers journey, maximise conversation taking in consideration latest tools and trends. Ensure the website is always aligned with the company brand guidelines.
Support the management with email marketing and paid traffic and social platforms (IG /FB/ TT/YT).
Co-ordinate the creation of POSM, posters, banners, catalogues, flyers etc, to drive awareness and engagement with our products.
Support with the development and management of seasonal campaigns (Ramadan, Hajj, back to school, summer, winter, etc. )
Co-ordinate with internal and external creatives agencies / personnel to develop best in class creatives campaigns and materials.
Research competitive environment, including pricing, market trends, insights into customers’ usage of LR products and opportunities.
Monitor and report on marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis, indulging cycle planning and budgets.
Here are the knowledge and skill requirements for the role:
Preference (but not essential) a graduate in English, journalism marketing or related fields
Preference (but not essential) 1-3 years experience in publishing or marketing
Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
Excellent creative skills
Strong analytical thinking skills
Well organized
Passion for books in general and children’s books in particular
